    Be Here, Now.

“Life is only available in the present moment. If you abandon the present moment you cannot live the moments of your life deeply.”
    — Thich Nhat Hanh

Living in a bustling city, we rarely experience how to be calm in the midst of our busy (and sometimes) chaotic day. We put more focus on our smartphones and our social life through that stuff. We compare our lives to others, we spend numbers of hours fretting about what may or may not happen in the future and ruminating about what happened in the past.

Yes, we’re no longer present in our daily lives. We are abandoning the present. We tell ourselves that this is no big deal — that these moments don’t matter.

Sometimes we forget the more we worry about what may or may not happen, the more we deprive ourselves of enjoying life in the present. It is vital then that we let go of our future thoughts and pay attention to the now without judgment.

A simple tip for us who are struggling to stay present is : focus on gratitude.

Sometimes we forget the more we worry about what may or may not happen, the more we deprive ourselves of enjoying life in the present. It is vital then that we let go of our future thoughts and pay attention to the now without judgment.

We often direct our attention to what we want instead of what we already have. We already have the universe in our hands if we learn to stay conscious in our daily lives. Living in the present takes practice. Pay attention to small things, look at the blue skies, feel the air, smell around you, taste what you eat, take a deep breath. If you’re aware of that feeling right now, as you’re reading this, you’re living in the moment. Nothing happens next. It’s not a destination. This is a present moment. You’re already there.

In this collection, together with Liunic on Things, we want to remind you to live in the present moment, to be more conscious and to be more mindful because…

    Now is all that matters.
